Washington Water Service Scholarship Program

Washington Water has established a scholarship program to assist students residing within its service areas who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.

Students can get more information about the Washington Water Scholarship program and start the application process online. Enrollment for the scholarship program is currently closed, but will reopen in spring 2018.

Awards

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award ranging from $1,000 to $10,000. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Washington Water Scholarship Program, the applicant or the applicant's parents or guardians must live in one of Washington Water's service areas. In addition, applicants to the program must:

Nontraditional students who are returning to school or planning to pursue a postsecondary education for the first time are eligible and encouraged to apply.

Administration

This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.
