Currently we have two automated payment options available to our customers for paying a monthly invoice. If you are signed up with one of our automatic payment plans you are also eligible to receive your monthly billing invoice via email – going green and working towards the protection our precious resources.
Option One: Auto-Pay\EFT
All that is needed to get signed up with this service is the completion of our Auto-payment form and a voided check from your banking account. If you do not have checks for your account – a deposit slip with your routing number and account number will work fine. With Auto-Pay, your payment will be drafted on the due date that is printed on your monthly statement. If the date falls on a weekend or holiday the payment will be drafted the following business day. With this option you have the convenience of being able to call our office and discontinue your payment service at any time. Another advantage of this method is that it is only necessary for you to contact us should your banking information change or if you have an interest in canceling your service with us. If you would like to sign up for Auto-Pay, please click on the link below and complete the attached form and return it to our office with a voided check. If you include your email address on the form, we will automatically sign you up for Ebilling and you will receive a confirmation email that this service has been activated. Option Two: Reoccurring Credit Card Payments With option two, we are able to take a payment from the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Visa\MasterCard Debit. Payments are deducted from your credit card on the “Statement Date” or the same day the invoice is mailed out to the customer. Because credit cards do have an expiration date, it is the customer’s responsibility to download a new Visa Authorization form each time their credit card expires to provide updated information to Washington Water. While your credit card number may not change, the expiration date and the CVN number on the back of the card do causing your card to become invalid. Washington Water does not store your credit card information on site. We use an approved vendor and system called CounterPass to process your payments each month. Updates to your information must be done in writing or in person at one of our local offices. If you would like to sign up for Reoccurring Credit Card Payments, please click on the link below and complete the attached form and return it to our office. We will create a processing account for you when we receive your request and then your information will be shredded for identity protection.
Bank Payments via Bill Payer Services: In addition to our automatic payment methods, we do accept payment from bill payer services that our customers are using at their banks. Please be sure that when you sign up for your bill payer service that you are including your correct account number on your payment. This will ensure that your payment is correctly applied to your account each month. If you are using a bill payer service through your bank, you are also eligible to sign up to receive your bill by email each month. You can send us an email at: customerservice@wawater.com advising us that you are using a bill payer service, along with your name, address and account number and we will send a reply once your account has been updated. Please note that Auto-Pay and Credit Card reoccurring payments are currently only available to customers who live on systems that are owned by Washington Water Service Company. Customers on our managed systems should continue to make their payments via check in the self-addressed envelope included with their bills or you can contact your bank and sign up for bill payer service through the bank if it is available. If you are unsure whether you are on an owned or managed system please call our office for assistance toll free at (877) 408-4060. |
