Crews will add chlorine to Cedar Park Road water system storage tank as a precautionary measure due to coliform bacteria found in sample. Water continues to be safe to drink and use.

Washington Water is advising some Southwood Water System in Pierce County that on Sunday, August 30, 2026, staff will be repairing a water line leak. Once water service is restored, customers should use boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking or cooking until further notice.

New chlorination treatment plant is now complete and effective Friday, September 11, 2026, it will be going online.
