Camelot and Western Skies: Temporary Service Interruption for Repair
Washington Water Service is repairing a water main leak in its Camelot and Western Skies water system and has had to temporarily interrupt water service for some customers in order to make the repair. This requires that we depressurize a section of the water system, resulting in an outage to the 16 homes/lots highlighted on the map below.
Our crew is onsite completing repairs and water service is expected to be completely restored by 4:00 pm today, November 20. Chlorine will be used to sanitize all new plumbing parts and materials. Once repairs are complete, the area will be flushed, and a follow-up bacteriological sample will be collected to confirm that water quality was not affected.
After this work has been completed and water service has been restored to homes, but before using water inside, affected customers are asked to please run your outside faucet until the water is clear. This is to prevent any discolored water from entering faucets and fixtures and to evacuate air from the service line.
We apologize for the inconvenience. Protecting your health and safety is our highest priority. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call our Customer Service Center. We can be reached toll free at (877) 408-4060 or by email at [email protected].
