Dinelt Mainline Extension and Consolidation

The Dinelt Water System will be consolidated into the larger Southwood System to provide increased reliability and water quality. A 300 foot mainline extension will be constructed started at the intersection and traversing along the northern shoulder of 258th Street. The work will require a one-day water outage for those on the Dinelt system to construct the final tie-in. Notices will be delivered to affected customers as the project progresses. Outage will occur on a weekday, between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Chlorine will be used to sanitize all plumbing parts and materials.

Traffic control will be implemented to allow crews to safely work in the area. Emergency vehicle access will be provided throughout all phases of construction. However, residents should plan for extra time and pay attention to where crews are working to allow safe access into and out of driveways and intersections.
