Baker Underground and Construction will be replacing the water main on 75th Avenue SW. The work will start at the Lakeside Street SW intersection and progress along the southern shoulder of 75th Avenue SW to the Mazama Street SW intersection. Evergreen Shore’s distribution network is showing an excessive amount of water loss. Mainline and service replacements are intended to minimize this water loss.

Chlorination will not be installed during this phase of construction due to the construction method, which allows for the new main and services to be disinfected and tested prior to placing in-service. To construct the final tie-in, one day of water service interruption is anticipated in mid-February. A separate notice will be issued in advance of the outage.

The work will be performed Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. Traffic control will be implemented to allow crews to safely work in the area. Emergency vehicle access will be provided throughout all phases of construction; however, residents should plan for extra time and pay attention to where crews are working to allow safe access into and out of driveways and intersections. Please avoid the work area when possible.
