Project Details

Northwest Development & Underground, LLC. will be replacing 1,200 linear feet of water main on 115th Lane SE and 1,100 linear feet on Laukers Lane SE. This water mainline replacement capital improvement project is required to address the large amount of distribution system water loss. Mainline and service replacements are intended to prevent leaks and minimize distribution water loss in the future.

Washington Water has embarked on a multi-phase project to replace services in an effort to decrease distribution system loss. Water service interruptions are anticipated for services connections along the construction alignment. Notices will be issued to those affected at least 48 hours in advance of the outage and outages will be less than 2 hours in duration. Chlorine will be used to sanitize all plumbing parts and materials.

The work will be performed Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Traffic control will be implemented to allow crews to safely work in the area. Emergency vehicle access will be provided throughout all phases of construction. However, residents should plan for extra time and pay attention to where crews are working to allow safe access into and out of driveways and intersections. Please avoid the work area when possible.
