Pederson Harold Wellsite and Pumping Upgrades

Location: 13818 Purdy Drive NW

Anticipated completion date: April 15, 2026

Washington Water is pleased to inform you of an upcoming water infrastructure upgrade that will improve water quality and water system reliability in your area. Beginning August 25, and continuing until the end of October, we will be upgrading the wellsite and booster station for this system.

Our construction staff will be working Monday through Friday, at the wellsite. Work will begin at 7:00 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 5:00 p.m. each day, barring any unforeseen issues.

During construction, you will see crews on site and work vehicles moving in and out of the area. Work vehicles and equipment will be parked in the construction zone, and access may be restricted in some areas. While we will have traffic control in place to minimize any traffic impacts and keep motorists and workers safe, please plan for extra time when driving in the area and pay attention to where crews are working. We also encourage you to avoid the construction area when possible. You may hear noise due to the construction while crews are on site each day; however, we do not expect the noise to be particularly disruptive.

Update: January 9, 2026

Construction on the Pederson Harold wellsite and booster station is approximately 90% complete. Over the coming months, our construction and operations teams will focus on testing and commissioning the new station to ensure everything is operating safely and efficiently. Once commissioning is complete, customers will be notified prior to the new treatment system being placed online. Thank you for your patience and cooperation throughout this project. These improvements will enhance water quality and system reliability for years to come.
