Washington Water has contracted Coatings Unlimited Inc. to recoat our three water tanks at the Raft Island wellsite. This project is slated to begin mid-June and will be ongoing until mid-July. The project will be contained within the wellsite property. During the coating process you will see crews on site and work vehicles moving in and out of the property.
You will notice construction noise in the work area while crews are on site each day. Work will begin at 7:00 am and should be wrapped up each day by 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, barring any emergencies. Work vehicles and equipment will be parked on-site and will not impact access along Fir Drive NW; however, residents should plan for extra time and pay attention to where crews are working to allow safe access around the work site. Please avoid the work area when possible.
