Pierce Conservation District coordinates the Tacoma-Pierce County Children’s Water Festival, an annual event that brings 5th graders from around Pierce County for a day of learning about water quality and conservation. This year’s Festival was held on Tuesday, March 14, at the University of Puget Sound. There were roughly 1,070 students from 13 schools in attendance.
Every year Washington Water sends four employees to participate in this educational event.
