Quistorff Water System: Scheduled Work June 8 – June 12
Washington Water Service (Washington Water) is pleased to inform you that we have received approval from the Washington Department of Health and Pierce County for the construction of a new booster pump station and emergency auxiliary power unit on the Quistorff water system. This project will improve water system reliability in your area. This work will begin this summer and is expected to be completed this fall.
Our contractors will be working on 112th Street Court near 65th Avenue, Monday, June 8, 2026, through Friday, June 12, 2026. Work will begin at 8 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. each day, barring any unforeseen issues.
During construction, you will see crews on site and work vehicles moving in and out of the area. Work vehicles and equipment will be parked along the roadway in the construction zone. While we don’t anticipate a need for traffic control, keeping motorists and workers safe is a top priority for Washington Water Service. Please take extra precautions when driving and watch for crews working in the area. We also encourage you to avoid the construction area when possible. No disruption in water service is anticipated.
We apologize for any inconvenience this work may cause and thank you for your patience as we work to make water system improvements that will benefit our community for years to come. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call our Customer Service Center. We can be reached toll-free at (877) 408-4060 or by email at [email protected].
