Disinfection Treatment, Peacock Hill System

Location: 10722 View Dr NW and 11314 16th Ave Ct

Anticipated completion date: July 2026

Washington Water is pleased to inform you that we have received approval from the Washington Department of Health for the construction of new disinfection treatment on the Peacock Hill water system. This project is the first phase of a water infrastructure upgrade that will improve water quality and reliability in your area. This work will begin this month and last until July. You may have already seen crews on the ground performing investigative and prep work.

Our crew will be working Monday through Friday at 10722 View Dr NW, and 11314 16th Ave Ct NW. Work will begin at 7:00 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 5:00 p.m. each day, barring any unforeseen issues.

During construction, you will see crews on site and work vehicles moving in and out of the area. Work vehicles and equipment will be parked along the roadway in the construction zone, and access may be restricted to one lane in some areas. While we will have traffic control in place to minimize any traffic impacts and keep motorists and workers safe, please plan for extra time when driving in the area and pay attention to where crews are working. We also encourage you to avoid the construction area when possible. You may hear noise due to the construction while crews are on site each day; however, we do not expect the noise to be particularly disruptive.

We apologize for any inconvenience this work may cause and thank you for your patience as we work to make water system improvements that will benefit our community for years to come. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call our Customer Service Center. We can be reached toll-free at (877) 408-4060 or by email at [email protected].
